Inkdrift is designed to keep your data private. Your books, reading progress, and personal settings stay on your device. This policy explains the limited data we do collect and why.

Data that stays on your device

The following data is stored locally on your device and is never sent to our servers:

• Your imported books and reading library
• Reading progress, bookmarks, and session history
• Word lookup history and saved definitions
• App preferences and settings

Anonymous usage analytics

We collect anonymous analytics to understand how Inkdrift is used and to improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you. Examples include:

• Which features are used and how often
• App launch and session duration
• Device type and OS version
• Crash reports

Analytics data is aggregated and does not include any personal information. Some events may include the title of the book being read or a word that was looked up to help us improve the reading experience.

Email address (optional)

You may choose to provide your email address to be notified when new books become available. If you do:

• Your email is stored solely for sending book availability notifications
• We will not share your email with third parties

Third-party services

Inkdrift does not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Children's privacy

Inkdrift does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app can be used without providing any personal information.

Changes to this policy

If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
